After a very hot day, high based storms developed and persisted on the Far North
Coast on NSW for several hours. These were taken on Tuesday 3rd January 2006 and
into the 4th at Wyrallah, Parrots Nest and McLeans Ridges between 8pm and 1am.
The very close bolt was about 300 metres away.
A severe storm hit Casino about 7.30pm this day with damaging winds. Some lightning
was captured after the rain eased, and then later at home. Storm chase report here
